The Wamego Police Department is located at 408 Elm Street in Wamego Kansas. The Department is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week by full-time and part-time personnel. The department consists of Administration, Investigations Division, Patrol Division, Communication Center, and Municipal Court/Records.
This includes twelve sworn officers. Of those twelve officers two are
administrative; one is assigned to investigations, ten officers assigned
to patrol division. The rest of our department consists of one administrative
personnel, one animal control officer, one crossing guard, ten dispatchers,
fourteen officer reserve unit, and one custodian.
The Wamego Police Department also houses the Pottawatomie County District
Office of the Kansas Highway Patrol.
